The Archbishop of Liverpool, Most Reverend Malcom McMahon OP was the principal celebrant of the Mass. He was joined by priests of the Deanery, Fr Francis's former Parish Priest, the Provincial of his order and several priests and brothers from Fr Francis's order - The Missionary Society of St Paul. Many people had travelled some distance to attend the occasion.

St Edmund Arrowsmith Parish Summer Fair
This year we are organising a Summer Fair which will take
place on Sunday 8th June at 2.00pm—4.00pm in the Sodality
Hall (Mather Room) and outside (weather permitting).
We are now collecting good quality unwanted gifts. We are also collecting bottles
of any type, chocolates, sweets. Please leave the items in the church porch.
We also need volunteers to help on the day.
