Today we remember all those who have lost their lives or have been injured because of war. The red poppy is a symbol of both remembrance and hope for a
peaceful future
In the stillness of this Season, may we take a moment to give thanks for the peace we enjoy….for the freedom we sometimes take for granted… and for the faith that helps us to see that light will always overcome darkness.
Father, we pray for a world
where the weak are protected,
and no one is hungry or poor;
A world where the riches of creation are shared, and everyone can enjoy them.
A world where different races and cultures live in harmony and mutual respect;
A world where peace is built with justice, and justice is guided by love
